Okay, as far as I know, and the numbers are not really all that correct, there are between 4 to 6 Million Orthodox Christians in the USA. Some sources they the number is higher, but it includes then the "nominally" Orthodox as well....

The relationship in numbers between the populations of Canada and the USA is roughly 10:1 (300 Million USA versus 30 Million Canadians) The Orthodox population hier is about 500,000. Canada has a large number of descendents of Ukrainians, most of which were Uniats, but a lot are Orthodox. The highest number of Orthodox Christians are in the West (Saskatchewan, Alberta and less so in BC).

But that answer was also given in your post.

That would be 2% in the US and 1.7% in Canada.

Ja Ilija Du hast natürlich recht..... blos bin ICH ungeduldig und will den ganzen Kontinent SOFORT Orthodox machen... hahahaha

Unser Kirche wächst mit erstaunlichem Tempo, Dank sei Gott. Unsere kleine Gemeinde (120-140 z/Zt.) hat im Moment 14 Katechumen und am kommenden Sonntag bekommen wir noch drei dazu. Das ist wirklich erstaunlich und wunderbar....

Das Tollste ist, früher kamen neue Kathechumen fast nur durch Freunde welche schon konvertiert hatten. Heute kommen die K. direkt "von der Strasse" in die Kirche... also vollkommen Fremde wollen konvertieren (aber müssen natürlich ein einjähriges Katechumenate mitmachen)...

Lass uns beten, das Gott uns alle Suchenden schickt und das wir würdig sind sie zu lehren und zu taufen...
