the comment most notably for me was the following:

Whew, quite the public relations offensive. It’s unclear though what the real purpose is. When the Pope visits other countries, it is to strengthen his flock. I don’t see that here, at least not as the primary purpose. What will be telling is who the advisers are and the logic and ideas that inform the public statements. If they are of the quality we saw in the last release (scroll down to note #4), we are in trouble.

Your posting made me wandering in the internet about your Church-OCA, your metropolitan etc.

Thanks for listening. I am familar with all of his Beatitude's speeches. Yes we are fortunate to have a young, energetic and intellectual leader in our church.

I had to post this here, because there is soo much disinformation about the Orthodox Church in America all over the European Websites. I was even attacked for mentioning the fight we are having here, because I was accused to not speek "nicely" about the EP. However, the Phanar and the GOA have been nothing but obstructionist concerning the Orthodox Union in NA and with the latest speech by the Archimandrit Elpidophoros ( http://www.aoiusa.org/blog/tag/elpidoph ... briniadis/ ), where he insulted practically ALL Orthodox Christians in NA, calling us basically barbarians, the fight is on.

You know, we in NA are always speeking our minds and are taking on any fight. So will it be in this case also, until we have a united OK in NA with our own Patriarch residing here and not in the old world...

I am mainly in the European Forums to make my brothers and sisters aware of this fight. Europe is exposed to the same shenanigans by old world hierarchs as is NA. It is time for the faithful to speek-up and tell the hierarchs that the situation ist untenable and they would better get their act together...
